Can I try Pro before paying?
Yes — sign up for a free account and use it as long as you like. When you hit the free-tier limits, you can upgrade to Pro at any time with one click.
What happens to my saved recipes if I downgrade?
Your recipes are never deleted. If you downgrade from Pro to Free, you can still read all your saved recipes — you just cannot save new ones once you have more than 50. Upgrade again at any time to restore full access.
Is my payment information secure?
Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider used by millions of businesses. KitchenConvert never stores your card details.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, cancel any time from your account settings. Your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period — no questions asked.
What counts as an OCR scan?
Each photo you upload for recipe extraction counts as one scan. Scanning the same photo again counts as a second scan. Pro and Premium users have unlimited scans.
What does Premium include that Pro does not?
Premium adds the full kitchen intelligence suite: weekly meal planning, pantry tracker with expiry alerts, unlimited AI Chef chat, unlimited translations, and beverage pairing suggestions. Pro covers unlimited nutrition analysis, scans, and imports.
