The three things Paprika can’t do

Real measurements.Paprika’s unit toggle swaps volume for volume. It doesn’t know a cup of flour is 125 g while a cup of honey is 340 g, or that an Australian tablespoon is 20 ml and a Japanese cup is 200 ml. The unit converter handles both — ingredient densities and regional standards.

Translation. A French or Japanese recipe pasted into Paprika stays French or Japanese. The recipe translator turns it into English with the technique intact and every measurement in your units in the same step.

Photo scanning.Handwritten recipe cards and cookbook pages can’t be typed into any app without typing. The recipe scanner reads them from a photo — cursive, abbreviations, foreign languages included.
